This post is all about available addendums to the Pflugerloop and Pflugerville loop system. With the option to combine both "Pflugerloop" and "To the Park and Back" routes you can start racking up some mileage. However these 2 additional off shoots will get you a little more mileage and one step closer to being a Pflugerville Master.
Addendum A: 5 miles there and back
This offshoot is easy to find, while taking the "Pflugerloop" before you go under N. Railroad Ave on the way back there is a concrete ramp. Take that up and ride the road or sidewalk to Pecan Street, take a left then a right at the fire station. Take the left on the half block and you will see "Pfairways trail". This will take you behind some neighborhoods up to the high school, the surface varies old and new but has a nice width the entire way. Be careful for blind street intersections.
Addendum B:
This offshoot is at Pfennig/Swenson Farms Lane intersection off Pflugerloop, take Pfennig Lane just past N. Heatherwilde Blvd. You will see the path to your left, from there it's nice new smooth and wide concrete all the way to Grand Ave. Parkway. Here you can turn around or take Grand Ave. Parkway by bike lane until the bike lane ends. It is a very nice size bike lane and I felt comfortable the entire time.
