The Hero's Way

The Hero's Way is a route I created that consists of the Brushy Creek Trail at Brushy Creek Sports Park in Cedar Park and joins up with the 183A shared use path that runs along side 183 until you arrive at the the end of trail @ Hero Way road in Leander Texas.

This is a newer trail and excellent riding surface. The trail is always fairly busy in the Brushy Creek part of the trail. Once you join up with the 183A shared use path it is pretty much free sailing. There are lots of street and highway intersections on this route so don't expect to break and time records and please ride with caution. I can not stress the highway traffic enough on this trail, you have highway interections and also run along side a stretch of business and shopping centers all with their own in and outs and traffic flowing through them. The best part about this trail for me is that you ride into no development, as of now, you are just out there and you get the feeling that people passing by in cars are thinking, what the heck is that guy doing out here. It's really a nice trail to zone out and skate on if there is no foot traffic, just dont zone out too much with those intersections.

The trail is roughly 10 miles point to point so a nice 20 mile journey once you get back to the car, unless you want to do it twice for glory.
